Vinsak, a leading regional supplier of printing and packaging equipment in Middle East, has recently secured significant deals with two prominent Indian companies, Hitech and Prakash Printers and Coaters Pvt Ltd, to enhance their printing capabilities.

Hitech, renowned in India’s security printing sector, has invested in a second 9-colour pre-owned Rotatek RK 250 Plus press. This new addition, installed at their Vijayawada facility, marks a strategic milestone for the company, which initially adopted Rotatek technology in 2013. The Rotatek RK 250 Plus is expected to bolster Hitech’s capacity and elevate their quality and efficiency in producing essential documents such as question papers, answer sheets, OMR forms, university degrees, certificates, and cheques.

Mario Gamez, CEO of Rotatek, expressed his delight at the continued partnership with Hitech, stating, “We are thrilled that Hitech has once again placed their trust in Rotatek’s cutting-edge technology.” This installation represents the debut of Rotatek’s newly branded printing and packaging technologies in India.

Hitech executives SVS Shetty and Manoharan highlighted the value of their partnership with Rotatek and Vinsak, noting that the initial Rotatek machine exceeded expectations, prompting the recent repeat order. Vinsak India’s Vice President, Mohan Pailwan, emphasized Hitech’s long-standing relationship with Vinsak, strengthened by recent installations, including their 1200 K Inkjet systems.

Meanwhile, Prakash Printers and Coaters Pvt Ltd in Ahmedabad has taken a significant step forward with the installation of the Invicta I2 press, a landmark for the Indian market. This press, introduced by Lombardi and Vinsak, boasts an impressive web width of 880mm, making it the first of its kind in India and the broader Asian and Middle Eastern regions.

The Invicta I2 press, notable for its high speed of 300 meters per minute and advanced features like cold foiling and cast and cure, is set to transform the flexible packaging market in India. Emphasizing sustainability, the press features minimal setup waste, low energy consumption, and a small footprint.

Prakash Printers, a family-owned business with a legacy of innovation, has consistently expanded its capacity, recently completing a 100,000-square-foot factory and planning an additional 50,000 square feet to meet growing demand. Prakash Shivlani, a company leader, praised Vinsak as a steadfast technology partner driving their growth, stating, “Vinsak has been and will remain our steadfast technology partner in our journey of progress.”

Massimo Lombardi, General Manager of Lombardi Converting Machinery, reiterated the importance of the Indian market and Prakash Printers in their innovation strategy, committing to developing new technology to meet evolving customer needs. “India has always been a key market with a special focus, and Prakash Printers, our key customer, consistently drives us to innovate,” he said.

These installations by Vinsak underscore the company’s role in advancing printing technology in India, aligning with the evolving demands of the market and supporting the growth and innovation of its clients.
