Vinsak has introduced its VIS1200-K inket system, which is 108mm in print width per module
and has 600dpi native resolution.
VIS1200-K can print on a variety of different substrates, including various offset papers, coated
papers, gloss papers, and films, said Vinsak.
The system features a new compact 108mm single-head 600dpi piezo high-speed printer for the industrial print market along with a drop-ondemand piezo print head with 108mm print width.
The system offers a print resolution of 600x600dpi. It caters for five levels of grayscale water-based ink, with 5pl, 8pl, 12pl, 18pl drop sizes, and UV ink with 6pl, 7pl, 11pl, and 14pl drop sizes. VISI200-K runs water-based inkjet at 75m/min at 600x600dpi and UV inkjet at 50m/min at 600x600dpi. Maximum printing width with a single PH module is 108mm but width is scalable up to 540mm. High-quality native barcodes can be achieved at both “picket fence” and “ladder” orientation. Software includes functionality for digital workflow, soft proofing, and remote job setup as well as open integration with industry standard databases. Software comes with all standard industrial and mailing barcodes including intelligent Mail Code and Datamatrix.
