Print equipment supplier, VINSAK has confirmed sales of three Lombardi Synchroline presses during the Labelexpo Europe 2017 earlier last week.
Hyderabad based Mold-Tek Packaging Limited, leading manufacturers of injection molded containers for lubes, paints, food and other products has bought the first of the 3 Synchroline 430 8-colors Fully servo UV Flexo press. The multi-substrate press is equipped with movable cold foil, chiller, two diecutting stations, slitter, turn bar, relam, delam, sheeter, conveyor, and lamination.
Mr. Janumahanti Lakshmana Rao- Chairman & Managing Director-MTPL said:” The main agenda behind purchasing Synchroline is to lower the prices of IN-MOLD label printing while complying with high-quality international standards.”
Mr. Lakshmana Rao-Deputy Director, MTPL added” The Flexo press will provide high-quality printing on In-MOLD Labels at a speed of 220m/minute and this will help us to strengthen our capabilities of
IML packaging division and deliver jobs on a record time”
MTPL introduced the concept of IML packaging in India & they are the first company to have completely integrated facilities ranging from Label printing and mold adaptations to make in-house robots. This investment further strengthens their in-mold packaging division.
Manipal International Printing Press invested in Lombardi Synchroline 530. Pritam Choudhary, managing director at Manipal Africa, said, “We are moving to a new city and have invested in 10000 sq. meters. Printing plant as our production capacity has increased by 50%. As of now, we are having three Flexo and two gravure machines producing 550000 linear meters a day.”
The new Lombardi Synchroline mid-web Flexo press will be a perfect fit with our existing infrastructure and is meant to print short-run jobs of 10,000 linear meters and less. We will be installing it in our Nairobi plant”
Pritam Choudhary added, “This will be the first Synchroline in eastern Africa and after this, we will bring in a range of label finishing machines to accommodate our growing production requirements.”
Hyderabad based start-up CITRUS packaging have signed the 3rd deal with a Synchroline 330, an eight-color UV press with the chill drum, rotary die-cutting, inline sheeting and the ability to print on substrate thickness of 12-500 micron.
Mr. Chenga Reddy, CITRUS Packaging has said” I was working with Pragati offset from a long time. As one of the key partner, we have always focused on printing quality and delivering jobs on time. Parting from the company was difficult but there is a huge space is in the printing industry to accommodate new players who can pitch to a range of customers. I was well versed with the business set up of Pragati offset and hoping to replicate it here.
Mr. Reddy added” Apart from Synchroline, CITRUS has invested in VINSAK’s digital label printing and finishing solutions, To stay ahead of the competition we will be adding security and VDP label printing to our portfolio, multi-layer labels, short-run shrink sleeves.”
Mr. Ranesh Bajaj, Director-VINSAK said, “Overall it was a great exhibition for VINSAK and our partners. We have witnessed a record crowd this year. We would like to congratulate all three companies on the purchase of Synchroline presses. The machine is technologically sound and can print a range of substrates. It will help them to foray into newer packaging segment as well. Soon, we will install the machines at their plants.”
Mr. Ranesh Bajaj added, “We are keen to bring machines which are of high quality, rich in feature and have more automated functions backed with our strong support system which can ease the operations of Printers & Converters.”
VINSAK demonstrated the VINSAK USAR 330 (Universal Slitter Rewinder) at Stand 7B43. The machine was equipped with Inkjet system with UV Drying & 100% inspection system. Along with VINSAK, it allied principles i.e. Lombardi, ABG, IWASAKI, PANTEC, SCHOBER & JET EUROPE also showcased their machines at the Label Expo such TR2 Intermittent offset press, Synchroline UV Flexo Press, RHINO 2 Hot Foil Embossing machine, Digicon series 3 short run label converting machine etc. A number of orders for ABG finishing equipment were also received.
