Abu Dhabi-based United Printing and Publishing (UPP), specializing in commercial, newspaper, and security printing, and recently entering the packaging print-converting sector, is undergoing a rebranding process and will now operate under the new identity of E7 Group.
E7, derived from ‘Emirates’ and ‘7’, symbolizes UAE unity and a forward-looking approach, reflecting the company’s commitment to customer service and products
This strategic rebrand aims to support E7 Group’s vision of becoming a leading industrial champion in Abu Dhabi, focusing on delivering top-notch customer services and cutting-edge products. Leveraging UPP’s legacy of utilizing advanced technology to craft customized solutions for clients across the region, E7 aims to continue this tradition of excellence.
The rebranding follows the successful completion of the business merger between ADC Acquisition Corporation and UPP, marking the region’s inaugural special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) combination. The merger injected $3 billion into the company, earmarked for accelerating E7 Group’s growth strategy, particularly in secure systems and sustainable packaging.
Trading under the ticker symbol “ADC,” the combined entity commenced trading on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange on November 9. Subsequently, post the launch of the E7 Group brand on November 23, the company will trade under the new ticker symbol “E7” on ADX.
Ali Al Nuaimi, Chief Executive of E7 Group, emphasized that their new corporate identity symbolizes their ambition to be a leading national industrial entity. He highlighted UPP’s established reputation for operational excellence, reliability, and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. Al Nuaimi expressed that as they transition to E7, they aim to continue these core values while embarking on a new phase of innovation and growth as a publicly listed company.
E7 Group encompasses four primary subsidiaries: E7 Security, specializing in comprehensive security solutions for various sectors; E7 Packaging, dedicated to sustainable packaging services; E7 Printing, a significant player in commercial printing focused on education; and Tawzea by E7, offering extensive logistics and fulfilment services.
