Company to participate in GPP under the theme of ‘boost your brand performance’
dubai UPM Raflatac will take part in Gulf Print & Pack (GPP) at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 26–29 March under the theme ‘Boost Your Brand Performance’.
UPM Raflatac will be presenting innovation in label films, and solutions for pharma, food, and durables labelling with a goal of demonstrating films’ many advantages over paper label faces.
“We welcome label converters, packaging designers and brand owners to discuss market trends, share technical expertise and discover self-adhesive label solutions meeting the latest expectations for innovation at our stand M25,” said DmitrijStrechin, area sales director of Eastern Europe and Middle East.
Films retain their functionality, stability, and visual appeal whenexposed to water, chemicals, oils, and UV light. They also support effects like the ‘no-label look’, according to the company.
UPM Raflatac’s range includes advanced materials like Raflex MDO and Raflex PRO, designed to bring optimal clarity even to contoured and squeezable containers, without the haze of traditional PE.
UPM Raflatac’s pharmaceutical and healthcare labelling solutions cover needs from tamper-verification to cryogenic storage.
For food labelling, UPM Raflatac produces labelling materials in facilities certified to the ISO 22000:2005 food safety management standard.
The materials meet EU food contact regulations such as EU10/2011, and are availablewith documents of conformity as legally required by brand owners, said the company.
In durable goods labelling, UPM Raflatac offers robust solutions for all environments, exposures, and surface types. This keeps identification and safety information intact for the lifetime of appliances, electronics and automotive parts.
Sustainability is a key driver in UPM Raflatac’s product development processes, from sourcing, production, delivery and product use to end-of-life. Sustainably designed, resource-efficient label products benefit the entire value chain. Examples include responsibly sourced FSC® and PEFC™ certified papers, and thinner papers and films optimised for their intended applications.
