Tetra Pak has entered into a significant partnership with Al Rabie, a leading Saudi producer of juices, nectars, and dairy products, to modernize and digitize its production facilities in Saudi Arabia. The three-year project, which was officially launched at Gulfood Consumer in Dubai, will focus on leveraging Tetra Pak’s technology to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of Al Rabie’s operations.

The goal of the project is to transform Al Rabie’s production plant into a “Next Generation Factory,” incorporating Industry 4.0 technologies for digital transformation. This initiative aims to streamline operations, improve resource efficiency, and support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. By modernizing its facilities, Al Rabie expects to save up to 36 million liters of water annually in cleaning operations and reduce electricity and utilities consumption, while increasing production capacity.

Konstantin Kolesnik, Managing Director of Tetra Pak Arabia Area, stated, “This agreement marks a significant advancement in our long-standing partnership with Al Rabie. Combining Tetra Pak’s global expertise with Al Rabie’s market leadership will elevate the food and beverage industry in Saudi Arabia.”

Bassem Sabra, CEO of Al Rabie, expressed enthusiasm about the project, saying, “This project affirms our commitment to top quality and innovation. Enhancing our production capabilities allows us to meet the evolving needs of our consumers and further contribute to Saudi Arabia’s food security and sustainability goals.”

The collaboration between Tetra Pak and Al Rabie dates back to 1980, and this new project reflects their ongoing efforts to drive innovation in the Saudi food and beverage industry.
