Sun Chemical has announced an immediate price increase across its ink products in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The decision comes in response to significant disruptions in the supply chains for color and white pigments, which have been affected by shortages, insolvencies, anti-dumping import taxes, and rising sea freight rates from Asia.
“The pressure across the supply chain is causing a significant rise in raw material costs, and unfortunately, this requires us to increase prices,” said Mehran Yazdani, President of Global Packaging and Advanced Materials at Sun Chemical.
Sun Chemical has been working to manage these cost increases by implementing internal improvement programs and maintaining close communication with suppliers and industry associations. The company is committed to minimizing the impact on customers and will communicate specific price changes directly to them.
Customers are encouraged to contact their local Sun Chemical sales representatives with any questions.
