Skyne rebrands UAE honey brand for a sustainability vision

Rebranding sustainability with OneHive

Dubai based design agency, Skyne created a brand identity and packaging design for OneHive, a local award-winning honey brand that originated in the mountains of Hatta, under the stewardship of His Highness Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, whose commitment to the sustainability of the honey bee has been a driving force in the rebranding of this unique honey brand.

Skyne was approached to bring this vision of a holistic brand to life. It developed the name OneHive, reflecting the vision of its founder, who believes that humans cannot survive without honeybees as part of our ecosystem.

In this visual property the bee is placed at the centre of its own livelihood, the flower, and while pollinating, making all other (plant) life possible too at the same time.

A new award-winning and compelling brand identity was developed that connects the entire organization while unifying the vision of sustainability of bees.

The imagery used is bold and distinctly identifiable, encapsulating the purpose of the brand and the vision it sets forward. This vibrant and elegant design system was applied to different formats of collaterals to ensure consistency is reflected across all platforms. The easily translatable design was made versatile in its application to be usable in different formats and in different places.
