Paperworld Middle East has opened its doors at the Dubai World Trade Centre, running from November 12-14. Now in its 13th edition, the event has grown into a significant platform for the paper and stationery industry, with over 600 exhibitors from 40 countries and 12,000 visitors expected from across the globe.
This year, the exhibition has launched a new Kraft and Packaging section, aimed at addressing the industry’s increasing demand for sustainable materials. The section features eco-friendly packaging solutions, including kraft papers and advanced printing techniques designed to reduce environmental impact.
“This year’s additions reflect industry trends and the shift towards sustainability,” said Syed Ali Akbar, Show Director of Paperworld Middle East. “Our goal is to provide professionals with innovative solutions and networking opportunities.”
The event also hosts country pavilions from markets such as India, Germany, China, Turkey, and Egypt, showcasing a wide range of products and offering a comprehensive overview of global industry trends. Key product categories include paper products, office supplies, school stationery, and hobby and art materials.
Returning features include The Hub Forum, which will present 17 sessions with 30 speakers, focusing on themes like AI and sustainability. The Paperworld Middle East Awards, happening on November 13, will highlight innovative designs and products across 12 categories.
The exhibition continues to emphasize sustainability, with Project Sustainability showcasing environmentally friendly items such as recycled stationery. For select senior buyers, The Premium Club offers exclusive benefits aimed at enhancing business opportunities.
Paperworld Middle East runs until November 14, covering halls 3 to 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
