Ma Hawa launches Water-from-Air Bottles at ADNOC and Union Coop in UAE

Ma Hawa’s sustainable Water-from-Air bottles now available in UAE stores.

Ma Hawa, an Emirati brand owned by Baynunah Watergeneration Technologies SP LLC, has launched its innovative Water-from-Air bottles in the UAE. These sustainable drinking water bottles are now available at select ADNOC and Union Coop stores, marking a significant step towards eco-friendly hydration solutions.

Starting in September, Ma Hawa’s bottles will be stocked at Union Coop branches in Al Wasl, Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim, Al Barsha, Midriff, and Al Warqa, as well as in 10 premium ADNOC outlets across the country. The company plans to expand distribution to an additional 90 ADNOC locations, ensuring broader access for consumers.

Ma Hawa’s technology extracts pure water from atmospheric humidity, offering a renewable water source in a region facing severe water scarcity. Approximately 83% of the population in the region is exposed to water stress due to climate change. By providing an alternative water source, Ma Hawa addresses these critical environmental challenges.

“By providing consumers with a high-quality, eco-friendly hydration option, we aim to empower individuals to make conscious choices that benefit both themselves and the planet,” said Ahmed Assim, Head of Retail Sales at Ma Hawa.

Ma Hawa’s water-from-air technology has the potential to supply drinking water to homes, commercial facilities, and even entire communities. The company is committed to raising awareness about water security and advancing research and development in atmospheric water generation (AWG) technology, with the goal of reaching every household in the UAE.
