Fujifilm Integrated Inkjet Solutions has collaborated with Lebone Litho Printers (Pty) Ltd, a South African print service provider, to install three Fujifilm 42K Printbar Systems. This installation has significantly reduced production times for variable-data printing applications, drawing interest from clients seeking faster turnaround times.
Lebone Litho Printers, operating in Johannesburg with over 500 employees, serves a diverse customer base across industries such as food and beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and government sectors. The implementation of Fujifilm’s 42K Printbar Systems has cut variable-data printing lead times by half.
The 42K Printbar Systems were crucial in printing election ballots for the Democratic Republic of Congo. Lebone Litho Printers successfully printed 64,000 pads in two weeks, a task that previously took four weeks. This achievement has enhanced the company’s visibility and boosted sales opportunities.
“The productivity of the Fujifilm 42K Printbar System is at the core of our success,” said Keith Michael, CEO of Lebone Litho Printers. “With this high-tech printing solution, we can deliver high-quality services quickly and handle additional projects, such as printing exams for local schools and vehicle registration documents for Tanzania.”
Greg Balch, vice president and general manager of Fujifilm Integrated Inkjet Solutions, commented on the partnership: “Lebone Litho Printers’ success underscores the versatility and value of the 42K Printbar System and the trust they place in Fujifilm’s integration team. Their feedback aligns with what we hear from other clients.”
The Fujifilm 42K Printbar System is being showcased at drupa 2024, held from May 28 to June 7 in Dusseldorf, Germany, at the Fujifilm booth Hall 8b / A02.
