Lancôme has launched a refillable version of its iconic Idôle Eau de Parfum, underscoring the brand’s commitment to sustainability. This new initiative features the Classic INUNE fragrance pump from Aptar Beauty, known for its advanced design and environmentally friendly components.
A Move Toward Sustainability
The refillable Idôle bottle represents Lancôme’s efforts to promote sustainability within the beauty industry. The bottle, which embodies contemporary femininity, now comes equipped with Aptar Beauty’s Classic INUNE pump. This pump is noted for its POM-free cartridge and lightweight design, which is 10% lighter than the market average. It is manufactured at Aptar’s Le Neubourg site in Normandy, France.
Classic INUNE: A Prestige Reference
Aptar Beauty designed the Classic INUNE pump to meet rigorous specifications, ensuring olfactive neutrality by preventing the fragrance from contacting the metal components of the dispensing system. This design feature maintains the purity of the fragrance.
“This new launch is the result of a close partnership between the L’Oréal and Aptar teams. To meet the challenges of sustainability without compromising on the aesthetics of the Idôle Eau de Parfum bottle, Classic INUNE was a perfect match. It is stylish and discreet, and fits in perfectly with the sleek design of the bottle, even in its refillable version,” said Sophie Magdelaine, Global Platform Senior Manager Fragrance, Aptar Beauty.
Balancing Sustainability and Luxury
The Classic INUNE pump is tailored for eau de toilette formulas, offering a refined spray experience. Its thin design enhances the sensory appeal of the fragrance. The pump and collar are anodized for an elegant metal finish, color-matched in Lancôme’s signature rose gold hue. This design complements the slender and delicate shape of the Idôle bottle.
By integrating the Classic INUNE pump, Lancôme ensures that its refillable Idôle Eau de Parfum maintains the luxury and quality expected by its customers, while also advancing its sustainability goals.
