Krones Group, a German machinery manufacturer has announced its inauguration of a glue manufacturing facility in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The global manufacturer of filling and packaging technology offers lines for the beverage industry and food producers: process technology, filling technology, packaging machines, all the way through to IT solutions.
In an opening ceremony held at the Krones Ethiopia office on 28 June, HE Stephan Auer, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ethiopia, Gary Zeller, Managing Director of Krones East Africa and Stephan Maschke, Managing Director of KIC Krones inaugurated the new glue manufacturing plant that aims to serve customers in Ethiopia with locally manufactured cold glue.
The company stated, “We are very happy to celebrate the inauguration of our glue manufacturing facility in Addis Ababa. Krones is committed to the Ethiopian market and will continue to be a strong partner and strengthen our efforts to serve our customers.”
Based on the positive first-quarter trend, the company forecasts revenue growth of 5% to 8% in 2022, with good chances of achieving the upper end of this guidance range.
