Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia has retained its position as the top seller of Colour Light and Mid Digital Production Printers in the ASEAN region for the third consecutive year, according to the Q4 2024 International Data Corporation (IDC) Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker.
The report shows that Konica Minolta had the highest market share in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. IDC’s tracker provides industry data on sales and trends in the hardcopy peripherals sector.
The company attributes its market position to its AccurioPress series, which includes the C4080, C84hc, C7100, and C14000 models. These printers focus on resolution, colour consistency, and workflow automation.
Francis Chua, General Manager for Regional Sales & Marketing HQ at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia, acknowledged the recognition.
“We are pleased that Konica Minolta has maintained its leadership in the light to mid-colour production print market across the ASEAN region for the third consecutive year. This reflects our long-term efforts and our customer relationships,” Chua said.
Teh Hui Ying, Senior Product Manager, also commented on the milestone.
“It is an honour to see Konica Minolta maintain its position in the market. This reinforces our focus on product quality and customer support,” she said.
Konica Minolta stated that it will continue to develop digital printing solutions to support businesses in the region.
