Esko, X-Rite, Pantone, and Enfocus are set to unveil their integrated technology ecosystem at drupa 2024, aimed at transforming the packaging supply chain. Announced during the pre-drupa international media conference, the collaboration promises streamlined processes, enhanced efficiency, and improved sustainability for brands and their packaging supply chains.
At booth #A12 in hall 8B, attendees can experience live demonstrations of the latest hardware and software innovations. One highlight is Esko’s sCloud, a cloud-native platform integrating all Esko applications. This platform provides 24/7 real-time access to data and resources worldwide, supporting connectivity with partners for enhanced collaboration.
Esko President Joël Depernet stated, “We are taking our customers on a journey to the future of connected cloud-based operations.” The platform’s readiness is being announced at drupa, with new tools already available for customers, promising new levels of speed and efficiency in go-to-market processes.
Esko’s new Job Onboarding innovation will accelerate the go-to-market process from the supply chain’s start by enabling converter sales and customer service employees to access professional packaging tools.
Esko will also introduce the CDI Crystal ‘Quartz Edition,’ offering enhanced optics and optimized Crystal Screens for improved flexo plate imaging speed and print quality. Additionally, the Varnish Inspection Module for Esko AVT Helios will enable simultaneous inspection of varnish and coating with print inspection for various substrates.
X-Rite will introduce Autura Ink, a cloud-based ink formulation software, along with expanded capabilities for PantoneLIVE. These solutions target meticulous color uniformity across packaging products and communications, ensuring superior results.
Attendees can visit the Innovation Lab on the booth to preview prototypes, including an AI-assisted decision-making tool for packaging project specifications. Pantone will reveal a teaser for a new digital product enhancing the color decision-making process for designers.
Esko and X-Rite will be featured at the touchpoint packaging booth in Hall 3, showcasing their innovative solutions. Joël Depernet concluded, “With our integrated ecosystem, we are empowering businesses to significantly shift gears in workflow automation, accelerating speed-to-market with vital integrated color accuracy and consistency.”
