IFFCO Group Highlights Sustainable Innovation at Food500 Summit and Gulfood 2025

IFFCO Group’s stand drew visitors with interactive product demonstrations and tastings

Dubai, UAE: IFFCO Group, a UAE-based multinational FMCG company, marked three decades at Gulfood 2025 with a showcase featuring a range of products, including carbon-neutral oils and alternative proteins, as part of its focus on sustainable packaging and food innovation.

 

In addition to its presence on the exhibition floor, IFFCO Group executives participated in discussions at the Food500 Summit, an industry gathering addressing topics such as trade, legislation, environmental goals, and food security.

 

During the panel discussion on “Trends and Opportunities in the F&B Space,” Mohammed Itani, CEO of Oils & Fats, IFFCO Group (GCC and Levant), spoke about consumer preferences for sustainable and ethically sourced food products.

 

“Consumers today are increasingly seeking food that is healthier, ethically sourced, and environmentally responsible. At IFFCO Group, we are working towards innovation in plant-based alternatives, sustainable packaging, and reduced-carbon food production to align with these changing expectations,” said Itani.

 

He also mentioned changes in GCC dining habits, noting a 61% increase in weekly dine-outs in Dubai.
