These products cater to packaging manufacturers in sectors such as confectionery, chocolate, tobacco, and hygiene, aiming to meet stringent standards for visual quality, safety, and production efficiency.
The new adhesives are formulated with hubergroup’s UV-curing cold foil adhesives, NewV lac MGA, which offer sharp definition and vibrant metallic effects. These products are engineered for rapid curing speeds and high press performance, enabling brands to achieve striking visual results with precision. “With Cold Foil Silver and Gold adhesives, we are setting new standards in brilliance,” said Patrick Hübel, Director of Global Product and Color Management at hubergroup. “Our customers receive a premium printing solution that combines high safety and striking effects – ideal for a demanding market.”
In addition to their visual appeal, these adhesives comply with major regulatory standards, including the EuPIA Suitability List of Photoinitiators and Photosynergists for FCMs, the EuPIA Guidelines for Printing Inks applied to FCMs, and GMP for FCM Printing Inks. They also meet the Swiss Ordinance on Materials in Contact with Food and EU regulations (EC) No. 1935/2004 and (EU) No. 10/2011, ensuring both safety and regulatory compliance.
The adhesives are designed to improve production efficiency by minimizing waste, especially during the initial print run. This helps reduce material consumption, supporting more cost-effective and eco-friendly manufacturing practices. Hubergroup aims to promote sustainability through these products, which lower costs and waste while maintaining high-quality results.
Cold Foil Silver and Cold Foil Gold adhesives are now available globally, reinforcing hubergroup’s commitment to innovation, safety, and sustainability in the printing industry.
