HP Inc. has announced a strategic multi-year global partnership with Canva, aimed at enhancing design and print services for Canva’s 185 million monthly users. This collaboration will enable seamless design-to-print experiences and localized printing options for a global customer base.
Cliff Obrecht, Canva’s co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, commented on the partnership, stating, “This partnership will deliver huge strategic value and fuel customer growth across both organizations.”
Founded in 2013, Canva has grown rapidly, launching Canva Print in 2017 to allow users to design and print a wide range of products. This new partnership with HP will expand Canva’s print service to 150 countries by 2026, aiming to reduce carbon footprints through localized operations.
HP’s automation software, HP PrintOS Site Flow, will support this expansion by streamlining production and shipping processes for Print Service Providers (PSPs). Jim Towle, Head of Print and Partnerships at Canva, emphasized, “With our teams working closely on new products and additional PSP locations, we can expand our world-class print capabilities and make it easier than ever for our global community to bring their designs to life.”
Earlier this month, Canva launched Canva Enterprise to meet the growing demand for visual communication platforms among large organizations. As part of the partnership, HP will implement Canva Enterprise to enhance its global marketing and sales teams’ ability to create and collaborate on visual content.
Haim Levit, Senior Vice President and Division President of HP Industrial Print, said, “Today’s announcement with Canva is a testament to HP’s commitment to partnerships of this magnitude. We’ve been incredibly impressed by the power of Canva Enterprise and look forward to boosting our team’s design productivity.”
The collaboration aligns with both companies’ commitment to sustainability, promoting localized production to reduce environmental impact.
