Highcon and Hybrid Software have announced a partnership aimed at improving the digital die-cutting workflow for packaging and display converters. The collaboration integrates Hybrid’s PACKZ software, which supports full PDF functionality, into Highcon’s Digital Die Cutting Workflow Package (DWP). This integration is designed to streamline processes, increase precision, and enhance workflow efficiency for operators across production sites.
A key aspect of the partnership is the custom-designed version of the PACKZ Engine for Highcon. This version introduces a fully integrated PDF workflow, tailored specifically for the digital die-cutting process. The update enhances artwork handling, provides high-quality previews, and offers automated XML export capabilities. These improvements allow packaging converters to seamlessly incorporate Highcon’s digital solutions into their existing workflows, reducing setup time and speeding up production.
“Our partnership with Highcon is all about empowering the packaging industry,” said Bert Van der Perre, Chief Commercial Officer of Hybrid Software. “Finishing is a vital step in packaging production, and this collaboration streamlines the process, delivering greater efficiency and precision for our customers.”
Haim Veig, VP Product at Highcon, added, “With Highcon’s digital die-cutting systems deployed worldwide, this collaboration with Hybrid Software enables production teams to achieve faster setups and top-quality output. Together, we’re optimizing production workflows for digital die cutting.”
The collaboration between Highcon and Hybrid Software aims to enhance the efficiency and precision of the digital die-cutting process, benefiting packaging converters globally.
