Henkel has inaugurated a state-of-the-art beauty care production facility in Riyadh, aiming to meet the rising demand for personal care products in the Middle East. The new facility will manufacture a variety of items under the Pert brand, including shampoos, conditioners, and other specialized products.
This development marks a significant step for Henkel Consumer Brands (HCB) division, underscoring the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia and the broader region. The facility aligns with Henkel’s focus on local production and sustainable practices.
The plant incorporates advanced water treatment technology to minimize waste and improve energy efficiency, in line with Henkel’s global sustainability goals. “Saudi Arabia is a very important market for us. Investing in localizing our production in Riyadh brings us closer to our consumers and allows us to expand our portfolio with Pert Hair care products made right here,” said Irina Eliseeva, General Manager of Henkel Consumer Brands. She added, “We remain committed to delivering high-quality, locally made offerings that meet the evolving needs of our valued Saudi consumers and beyond.”
The grand opening ceremony attracted prominent industry figures and Henkel executives.
