Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) has announced changes in its Management Board, effective July 1, 2024. Jürgen Otto (59) will succeed Dr. Ludwin Monz as the new CEO. Dr. Monz will step down from his position as Chairman of the Management Board at the end of June 30, 2024, and will also leave the Management Board.
Commenting on the change, Dr. Martin Sonnenschein, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed regret over Dr. Monz’s departure, acknowledging his strategic contributions to the company. He welcomed Jürgen Otto as a proven leader, highlighting his experience and network, which will help prepare HEIDELBERG for the future and strengthen its technological expertise in the printing and packaging industry.
Dr. Ludwin Monz thanked the Supervisory Board, the management team, and all employees for their cooperation during his tenure. He said, “I really enjoyed working at HEIDELBERG. I would like to thank the Supervisory Board, the management team, and all employees of the company for their good cooperation.”
Looking ahead to his upcoming role, Jürgen Otto commented, “HEIDELBERG is an icon of German industry with product quality and service expertise that is appreciated worldwide.
