The new packaging eliminates the plastic film previously used, opting instead for a sophisticated seal at the center of the box. This design update aims to facilitate easier access to the popular assortment of hazelnut praliné-filled chocolates.
The updated packaging features a dual-part seal that ensures the chocolates remain fresh while allowing consumers to open and reseal the box conveniently. This change aligns with Guylian’s commitment to maintaining the quality of its product while providing a luxurious unboxing experience.
Inside, the Seashells chocolates continue to be made from high-quality Belgian chocolate and Fairtrade cacao. The secure seal on the trays preserves the rich aroma of the marbled Seashells, which are known for their creamy hazelnut praliné filling. The packaging redesign reflects Guylian’s long-standing tradition of quality and craftsmanship, rooted in a love story that began over sixty-five years ago. Chocolatier Guy Foubert and his fiancée Liliane, inspired by a romantic coastal holiday, created the original Seashells as a sweet memento of their affection. The distinctive chocolate shapes and creamy fillings have since become a hallmark of the brand.
