Gallus Group, a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG), highlights its recent achievements in 2024, showcasing innovations that address operational efficiency and profitability in the label printing industry. The company’s advancements, including the Gallus One and the new System to Compose modularity concept, have strengthened its position in the digital printing market.

Two notable customers, Flexon from the Czech Republic and Yeloprint from Hungary, have achieved significant success with the Gallus One, a state-of-the-art digital label press. Flexon, which installed the machine in November 2024, reported faster job changeovers and increased profitability. “The custom configuration of the Gallus One allows us to streamline production, replacing two of our conventional presses,” said Martin Chaluš, Owner of Flexon. “Smart, connected printing is the future, combining digital and conventional technologies appropriately to stay competitive.”

Similarly, Yeloprint, which installed its Gallus One in October 2024, has leveraged the press to diversify its offerings and meet demand for shorter label runs. “We needed faster, high-quality capabilities without investing in a large flexo machine,” noted Dávid Péter, Owner of Yeloprint. “The Gallus One offers speed, quality, and a low total cost of ownership, making it a critical asset for our business.”

Dávid Péter, Owner of Yeloprint, remarked that “the Gallus One was an obvious choice” for the company.

Gallus also reported advancements with its MatteJet technology, designed for the wine and spirits label market. This innovation introduces cost-effective matte finishing directly inline, eliminating the need for external processes.

Looking ahead, Gallus plans to expand its portfolio in 2025, focusing on bridging market gaps and enhancing customer profitability. “We are committed to driving industry transformation through innovation,” stated Dario Urbinati, CEO of Gallus Group. “Our developments align with our mission to deliver smarter, more connected solutions that meet evolving market demands.”

With support from HEIDELBERG, Gallus continues to position itself as a leader in digital label printing, promising more strategic advancements in the year ahead.
