The finalists for the Paperworld Awards 2024 have been revealed in anticipation of Paperworld Middle East, set to take place from November 12-14 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year’s awards, now in their second edition, recognize innovation in the stationery, office supplies, and paper products sectors.
An independent panel of judges has selected finalists across 12 categories, emphasizing creativity, functionality, and sustainability. “The inaugural Paperworld Awards last year were a resounding success, recognizing exceptional achievements across the industry,” said Syed Ali Akbar, Show Director for Paperworld Middle East and Gifts and Lifestyle Middle East. He noted, “We have received a large number of high-quality entries, representing a diverse range of products.”
In the ‘Paper Packaging Solution of the Year’ category, finalists include Kraft Paper Tape by Allied Speciality, Recycled Packaging Box by Magic Trading Co, and UPM Notes from UPM Raflatac. The ‘Eco-Friendly Product of the Year’ category features ECO BEST NATURE-FRIENDLY PAPER by Kaagaz and Silvercote Packmate Unbleached Sustainable Recycled Tree-Free Copier Paper by Shree Krishna Paper Mills & Industries.
The awards ceremony will take place during Paperworld Middle East, where the winners will be announced, alongside the presentation of a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ recognizing significant contributions to the stationery sector.
