ExxonMobil has announced the launch of Signature Polymers, a new portfolio brand aimed at enhancing service and partnership within the polymers industry. The initiative, announced on October 1, 2024, in Spring, Texas, is part of ExxonMobil’s strategy to streamline its polyolefins portfolio and strengthen collaboration across the value chain.
Signature Polymers consolidates ExxonMobil’s polyolefin products under a single brand, simplifying product navigation and selection. Key initiatives include “PolyView” events, designed to foster industry dialogue and share market insights, and a new training platform, the Signature Polymers Academy, which will offer workshops to customers in key markets.
Juhan Robberts, Senior Vice President at ExxonMobil, highlighted the company’s long-standing customer relationships, stating, “As our industry faces increasing challenges, we believe our position as a leading global polyolefins supplier puts us in a unique position to deliver a new level of service and partnership to our customers.”
The company also aims to enhance internal collaboration, with all Signature Polymers employees undergoing comprehensive training focused on listening, learning, and responding to customer needs.
Alechia Crown, Global Brand Manager for ExxonMobil, emphasized the portfolio’s new structure, saying, “Our high-quality polymers aren’t changing, just the names. We’ll have fewer, more significant brands, reflecting the attributes and benefits they provide.”
The new approach, driven by industry feedback, aims to better align products with customer needs, enabling more effective partnerships and innovation within the plastics sector.
