Epson has announced the release of its new 76-inch SureColor SC-F11000 and SC-F11000H industrial dye-sublimation printers at drupa 2024. These printers are designed to meet the high productivity, speed, quality, and reliability demands of textile manufacturers.
The new SC-F11000 models build on the success of the SureColor F10000 series introduced in 2020. The SC-F11000H is equipped with an optional Jumbo Roll, which allows for continuous production by reducing downtime due to media changes. This feature makes the printer suitable for high-volume applications in fashion, sportswear, home furnishings, and soft signage.
Neil Greenhalgh, Product Manager at Epson Europe, stated, “In the dye-sublimation sector, customers demand fast turnaround times, consistent performance, high-quality output, and reliability. With these requirements in mind, we’ve developed an industrial-level dye-sublimation printer that sets new standards. The SC-F11000 offers the highest throughput of all Epson LFPs and is equipped with four PrecisionCore Micro TFP printheads and a ‘hot swap’ bulk ink solution designed to keep businesses running.”
The SC-F11000H features a CMYK ink configuration and offers three additional ink sets: orange and violet; fluorescent yellow and fluorescent pink; and light cyan and light magenta. These configurations enhance the printer’s versatility for various applications.
The key features of the SC-F11000 and SC-F11000H include high-speed printing up to 255m²/hr, PrecisionCore Micro TFP printheads, Epson Precision Dot Technology (which blends Halftone, LUT, and Micro Weave technologies), an easy media setting with a loading lever at both the front and back, and an integrated RGB camera for auto-adjustment. The printers also boast advanced auto-tension control for stable media feeding, a bulk ink solution with support for 10-litre or 3-litre ink boxes and a ‘hot swap’ function, user-replaceable parts including printheads, and a 9-inch LCD touch panel.
Epson ensures the consistency, quality, and reliability of the SC-F11000 and SC-F11000H by manufacturing all components, including printheads, ink, and Epson EdgePrint Pro software.
