UK-based press and converting equipment manufacturer Edale has opened a second unit at its recently constructed head office and factory, adding 20,000 sq ft (1,860 sqm) of production space.
Edale – which specialises in flexo printing, digital printing, commercial security and converting solutions – moved into its purpose-built headquarters in Hampshire, in the south of England, in 2009.
But the firm now has 50,000 sq ft (4,645 sqm) of space to enable its continued growth.
To help meet rising demand, Edale has also invested £350,000 ($580,000 ) in another new Mazak CNC machine centre for ensuring the performance of critical components manufactured in house.
James Boughton, Edale’s managing director, said: “In Edale’s growth we look forward to both continuing and new collaborations with future technology partners and customers globally.”
