Dove and Venus Williams launch special edition Beauty Bar with recycled packaging

Empowering young athletes with confidence: Dove x Venus Williams #KeepHerConfident Beauty Bar, blending sustainability and inspiration.

 

Dove has partnered with tennis champion Venus Williams to launch the Dove x Venus #KeepHerConfident Beauty Bar, a limited-edition soap that combines sustainable packaging with a message promoting body confidence among young female athletes.

 

The Beauty Bar is housed in a distinctive container resembling a tennis ball canister, made from recyclable aluminum. This design highlights Dove’s focus on environmental sustainability while offering a keepsake that underscores their commitment to innovation. Inside, the soap is wrapped in green, mimicking a tennis ball, and engraved with the word “confident.” The bar features scents of passionfruit and lemon balm, catering specifically to active girls.

 

This initiative supports Dove’s Body Confident Sports program, which aims to boost body confidence in girls aged 11 to 17. A 2023 Dove study revealed that nearly 45% of girls globally drop out of sports by age 14 due to body confidence issues. The #KeepHerConfident Beauty Bar seeks to address these challenges by encouraging young athletes to embrace self-confidence.

 

The Beauty Bar is not available for purchase. Instead, Dove is distributing it through a sweepstakes open to U.S. residents aged 18 and older. To participate, individuals can visit Dove.com and complete a simple entry form.
