Almarai launches ‘super juice’ with premium packaging and extended shelf-life

Almarai has launched its range of super juices, made from pure finest fruits, harvested in the bountiful orchards of Sunny Southern Spain, just squeezed and bottled to grant the consumers the real fruit taste experience. These 100% not-from-concentrate juices have no added sugar, no added water, no preservatives, no flavourings and no colourants. The Almarai Super Juice range is chilled juice that is prepared using proprietary technology allowing shelf life of six-months under chilled conditions through very short time ultra-heat treatment yet producing juice with taste and aroma profile closest to freshly squeezed. Almarai, a Saudi Arabia based conglomerate, founded in 1977, is the world’s largest vertically integrated dairy company and the region’s largest food and beverage manufacturing and distribution company. “The Super Juice is first of its kind in the region with a premium product in premium packaging and we are certainly proud of that” informed Kaunain Shahidi, purchasing manager of the company. “This new launch has two flavours, that is, Pomegranate and Grapes Berries in one-litre shrink sleeved PET bottles, offering great taste and convenience to the consumers,” added Shahidi. Almarai is ranked as the number one FMCG Brand in the MENA region and is a market leader in all its categories across the GCC, and specialises in the manufacture of dairy products, juices, bakery, poultry and infant formula. Since the introduction of Almarai’s fruit juices in 1999, the company claims that it has become the market leader in the segment in the GCC.
