UK pharmaceuticals group GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has said that it is exploring options for producing pharma products in the UAE.
GSK regional general manager Sally Storey said, “It may be that we don’t build something, we may look [to go] through a partnership.” She added, “We are relatively advanced in that right now. We’re looking at about six products initially. We’re looking to get the first manufactured product out on the ground in about 18 months time.”
