Middle East chocolatier shuns ‘traditional designs and looks’ for holy month
Patchi marketed eight collections and well over a hundred chocolate gifts during Ramadan, with an emphasis on “wild patterns, floral beauty, cool graphics and exotic flair”. “Traditional designs and looks are nowhere to be seen and yet the blessed essence of this holy month endures in each item,” said the leading Middle East chocolate maker. The bright packaging and stylishly fresh designs provide a showcase for creativity, according to the company. Patchi also introduced new chocolate flavours for Ramadan and a Tasali limited edition selection for the festival. Patchi debuted truffles, added to established collections, and introduced a collection inspired by Ramadan lanterns. “The rich variety of boxes, tins, hampers, arrangements, glass, crystal, porcelain, leather, silver, sizes, and fillings are a festive expression of vast choice,” said the company. Patchi claims to be “setting the trend in gifting” and offering wonderful ways to share moments with friends and family, adding a special touch to iftars, souhours, gatherings, and Ramadan nights.
