Speaking to Packaging MEA, Boettcher Middle East FZ-LLC regional sales manager, Pius Marokky told “we give a lot of importance during this exhibition to showcase our sleeves technology.Printers and converters here in the region know Boettcher very well for products like rollers, chemical and blanket.
However, most of them are not aware that Boettcher manufactures sleeves for Flexo, Gravure and Lamination machines, handrails for well know Escalators and Elevators in addition to industrial rollers for various industries that require EPDM, NBR and PU Rollers for multiple functions. Most of the customers in the gravure packaging print industry require sleeves with different under-cuts, and this is something that we manufacture at our factory in Germany. We have to emphasis that all our customers are happy with our rubber technologyAt GPP, we will give more emphasis to direct laser engraving as it is gaining a stronger position as an accepted alternative to photopolymerisation in the production of flexographic printing forms. Most of the laser engraving equipment manufacturers recommend our sleeves to the end users. Most of the sleeves are re-grindable as well. The end result is that customers can use our sleeves for a long period and they can depend on us for their various sleeves technology.
