Bobst has reported a turnover of CHF1.3bn ($1.4bn) in 2014 – in line with forecasts – but given a reduced outlook for 2015 in light of the Swiss franc’s shifting exchange rate.
Last year’s second-half sales totalled CHF740m, following CHF560m in the first half.
But for 2015, the Swiss printing and converting manufacturer is now aiming for CHF1.15-1.23bn.
The guidance is down from CHF125-1.33bn after the Swiss National Bank discontinued a minimum exchange rate of CHF1.20 to the euro.
