Labelco International has purchased a 7-colour Gallus EM 280 with inline finishing options, managing director Imran Hussein told Packaging MEA.
But the firm is already aiming to make further investments next year, he added.
“Labelco International has invested in a Gallus EM280 as our demand and customer base has increased,” he said.
“We are also going to invest in another line of ECS340 and later are looking at investing in a digital labelling line as well sometime next year.”
While the company’s orders have grown over the last two years, so has competition from rival companies, he added.
“However, as we are focused towards good customer service and quality, we have been successful in having loyal customers and our customer base is also increasing considerably,” he said.
Labelco is also about to invest in converting and finishing machinery, he said.
“We have narrowed down our options and will finalise the right machinery shortly,” he said.
He described Labelco as a family-run business that sets itself apart by its “passion, commitment and hard work”.
The company offers in-house design and production for an integrated, one-stop service for all label requirements, including variable data printing.
