Linx Printing Technologies participated in the Gulfood manufacturing exhibition in Dubai on 9-11 November with a range of coding and marking solutions.
Displayed on stand S-112 by Linx’s distributor partner Reliable Industrial Coding & Marking Systems were the Linx CJ400, Linx 5900 and Linx 7900 continuous inkjet printers, the Linx TJ725 thermal inkjet printer, the Linx IJ355 and IJ375 case coders, the Linx SL302 laser coder and the Linx thermal transfer overprinter (TTO).
The Linx CJ400 won the ‘Most Innovative Processing or Packaging Machine’ category at the UK’s PPMA (Processing & Packaging Machinery Association) Group Industry Awards 2012.
The product features an Easi-Change service module that can be changed in minutes. Other innovations deliver a significant reduction on cleaning costs, ink and solvent consumption.
The Linx 5900 is a CIJ printer for three-line coding which can be further upgraded. It offers the lowest maintenance costs in its class along with extended service intervals of up to 6,000 hours, according to Linx.
The Linx 7900 offers the Linx Insight remote web interface. New ink system technology lets the Linx 7900 printer run for up to 9,000 hours or 18 months between services, said Linx.
The Linx SL302 laser coder is part of a range that can be fine-tuned and customised. The Linx TJ725 printer ensures the first print is as good as the last, providing a high resolution, digital alternative to roller coders, valvejet and CIJ systems, according to Linx. Its Simply Smart Technology provides unrivalled print reliability combined with the simplest of setup and operation, said the firm.
The Linx IJ355 and IJ375 high definition case coders are a cost-effective, easy to use alternative to other large character printers, and to the labelling or pre-printing of secondary packaging, according to Linx.
