Canon’s latest digital printing solutions on display at Gulf Print & Pack KSA 2025, showcasing cutting-edge innovations for the packaging industry.

Canon has unveiled its latest digital printing technologies at Gulf Print & Pack (GPP) KSA 2025, focusing on packaging and other print applications. Under the theme “The Power to Move,” Canon’s presentation highlights advancements in digital solutions tailored to meet the demands of Saudi Arabia’s packaging industry, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The event, held from January 14–16 at Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center, features Canon’s innovative approaches to agile, short-run packaging production. Notably, the company is spotlighting its UVgel Packaging Factory, built on the Colorado M-series and Neolt technology, alongside the Arizona 1360 FLXflow. These solutions address the increasing need for flexible and efficient packaging workflows.

Shadi Bakhour, B2B Business Unit Director at Canon Middle East, stated, “Through our ‘Power to Move’ theme, we are demonstrating how digital print technologies can transform businesses in Saudi Arabia. Our solutions aim to empower local industries to innovate and adapt to the growing demands of packaging and beyond.”

Canon’s participation also celebrates the inaugural graduation of its Canon Printing Consultant Program (CPC). This initiative equips local consultants with advanced technical expertise, enabling them to support businesses in packaging, commercial printing, publishing, and corporate in-house production.

In addition to packaging, Canon is showcasing its interior décor solutions, including the Arizona series for rigid media applications, the UVgel/Colorado M-series for high-volume roll-to-roll production, and the imagePROGRAF series for artistic outputs. The portfolio is supported by PRISMA XL Suite software, ensuring streamlined workflow integration.

The GPP KSA 2025 exhibition also marks the regional debut of Canon’s “World Unseen” initiative. Developed with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), this multi-sensory exhibit highlights Canon’s commitment to accessibility and innovation, offering new ways to experience imagery.

Since establishing a direct presence in Saudi Arabia in 2018, Canon has invested over $50 million in local infrastructure and talent development. With facilities in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Khobar, Canon continues to strengthen its contribution to the Kingdom’s evolving print and packaging industries.
