Canon demonstrates success at drupa 2024, secures major Middle East deals

Canon’s drupa 2024 display secured €7.3 million in orders, showcasing cutting-edge print technologies to over 70 Middle Eastern clients.

 

Canon, a global leader in digital imaging solutions, reported its most successful participation at drupa 2024, securing significant deals and attracting substantial customer interest. At its stand in Hall 8A, Canon showcased its latest production print technologies, resulting in orders worth €7.3 million and hosting over 70 key customers from the Middle East.

 

Canon’s theme for the event, “The Power To Move,” highlighted the impact of print in driving emotional engagement and business transformation. The company demonstrated its cutting-edge technologies, emphasizing sustainable business solutions through curated workflows and real-life applications.

 

Canon Middle East played a pivotal role in this success, exceeding projections and securing substantial orders. Notably, Tenaui Saudi Arabia acquired two varioPRINT B3 cutsheet inkjet machines for commercial printing. The Education & Training Evaluation Commission in Saudi Arabia added a second line of ColorStream 6000 for exam printing, while the King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex purchased two ProStream 3000 lines. Additionally, AST in UAE and Qatar secured two units each of Colorado M5, Arizona 1360 GTF, and imagePRESS v1350. Saudi-based Al Mutawaa became the first to acquire the Colorado packaging factory along with the Arizona 2360 FLXflow.

Despite not being available until next year, the newly announced varioPRINT iX1700 and B2-format varioPRESS iV7 attracted significant attention.
