ASPA unveils MEA chapter at drupa in Dusseldorf to fight counterfeiting

ASPA expands its global reach, launching the MEA Chapter at drupa 2024 in Dusseldorf, bolstering efforts against counterfeit goods.

 

Dusseldorf, Germany – The Authentication Solution Providers’ Association (ASPA), a renowned non-profit organization dedicated to advancing secure authentication solutions, unveiled its Middle East and Africa (MEA) Chapter at drupa 2024 in Dusseldorf. Celebrating its 25th year in the battle against counterfeiting, ASPA’s strategic move aims to bolster its global efforts against the proliferation of counterfeit goods, which pose severe risks to consumer safety, economic stability, and intellectual property rights.

 

Mr. Ranesh Bajaj, an industry veteran, will lead ASPA’s MEA Chapter as its Chairperson, marking a significant step in enhancing cooperation between global companies to combat counterfeiting. The MEA region, recognized as a major export hub for various products, including pharmaceuticals, automotive parts, electronics, and luxury goods, holds strategic importance in the fight against counterfeit products entering international supply chains.
