Aptar Beauty, a division of global consumer packaging company Aptar, has unveiled its inaugural monomaterial airless dispenser, known as Mono Micro. Initially introduced across the Micro 30ml range, the company intends to extend this sustainable solution to encompass the entire Micro range.
The Mono Micro distinguishes itself by being crafted entirely from polyethylene (PE), encompassing the container, actuator, outer cap, interior piston mechanism, and label. Notably, this dispenser has earned a 100% recyclability certification from the European evaluation institute Institut cyclos-HTP.
Manufactured and designed at Aptar Beauty’s airless technology specialist facility in Villingen, Germany, the Mono Micro features a top-fill piston system with a high evacuation rate. This design aims to reduce bulk waste, while the dispenser’s 360-degree dispensing capabilities and precise dosage per stroke enhance user-friendliness.
The suitability of this packaging extends to dermocosmetic and masstige brands, particularly those prioritizing the end-of-life recyclability of their packaging.
