APICO inaugurates new factory in Al Kharj City, Saudi Arabia

Arabian Plastic Industrial Company Limited (APICO), a prominent player in the plastic products industry, recently inaugurated its new factory in Al Kharj City, Saudi Arabia. The event, attended by senior officials from the company and the Balubaid Group, along with business leaders and industry pioneers, marks a significant step in APICO’s strategic expansion and development plan.

 

Strategically located in Al-Kharj Industrial City, the new factory covers a land area of 34,000 square meters, with the initial phase encompassing a 12,000-square-meter building. This phase includes blow molding and injection molding lines for various plastic products, with plans to expand to cover a total area of 22,000 square meters in the near future, including the new PET product range.

 

Mr. Venugopal, CEO of APICO, expressed pride in the new factory’s inauguration, stating, “This strategic decision is a testament to our commitment to be closer to our customers in both the Central and Eastern regions and to export APICO’s products to the markets of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Middle East, and the world.” He emphasized APICO’s focus on implementing the latest technologies for production quality and growth, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the industry.

 

With this new factory, APICO aims to strengthen its position as a leading company in Saudi Arabia, serving various sectors such as the automotive industry, food packaging materials, air conditioning, retail, and transportation solutions.
