Despite the live Drupa exhibition being canceled, Ferrarini & Benelli enthusiastically decided to take part in its first digital exhibition held earlier this year.
A long-time participant of Drupa, Ferrarini & Benelli renewed its participation in the virtual edition taking advantage of this opportunity to present its latest corona and plasma solutions in a completely innovative way.
Despite the moment of difficulty caused by the pandemic, 212 exhibitors from 35 countries participated in the Virtual Drupa, and numerous international visitors from 155 countries registered to attend the event.
The outcome for Ferrarini & Benelli has been incredibly positive, as Claudia Benelli, the General Manager of the company based in Romanengo, reports: “The Matchmaking Tool inside the Virtual Drupa’s portal has allowed visitors from around the world to interact constantly via chat and conference calls with our sales department”.
Participation in Virtual Drupa has encouraged Ferrarini & Benelli to create short videos to illustrate the products and advantages offered by the company’s solutions in a way that is both educational and specific, but also engaging.
The Virtual Showroom, which will be online up until December 2021, includes the new video describing the main features of the Polimetal corona treatment system. Polimetal is a universal corona treating system, perfect to treat conductive and non-conductive materials and it is available both in a one-sided and a double-sided version.
Coming soon, is the second video on the FB Evo Smart Generator, with a touch-screen display for immediate visualisation and easy browsing of all system parameters. Through the Internet connection, production data is sent to the cloud to facilitate remote control and provide customers with the best possible technical assistance.
The Virtual Showroom also includes other past videos, including the one about In Air Plasma, the treating system for small flat surfaces and plastic three-dimensional objects (cables, tubes, pipes, and gaskets), or for the removal of contaminating agents from metallic surfaces.
Mrs. Benelli adds that “the need to create videos to at least try and reduce the distance imposed by the pandemic has encouraged us to choose a format which we had never used before and that we will continue to develop. We have already created the Corona and Plasma characters to animate the next product videos and to follow our customers along while they explore our solutions. Our goal is to describe technical content in an engaging and captivating way, using tools which can not only add to virtual exhibitions but also our website and social networks”.
