AB Graphic International celebrates 70th anniversary with drupa debut

ABG’s debut at drupa: Showcasing innovations and celebrating 70 years.

AB Graphic International (ABG) is marking its 70th anniversary with its first-ever appearance at drupa, currently underway in Düsseldorf. This milestone event features ABG hosting guests at its own stand as well as the HP stand, where they are showcasing equipment integrated with the HP Indigo V12 Digital Press.

ABG’s stand, spanning 50 square meters, displays the SRI3 label finishing system and the SR (seaming rewinder) from its shrink sleeve range. At the HP stand, ABG is exhibiting three additional machines. These include the non-stop winding (NSW) technology for the HP Indigo V12 Digital Press, running in-line, and the Digicon Series 3 with Fast Track, designed for the finishing needs of the HP Indigo V12 Digital Press. The DigiLase with DigiJet is also being showcased, highlighting laser die-cutting and digital embellishment.

Matt Burton, ABG’s global sales director, expressed excitement about the company’s debut at drupa. “This year is a big one for ABG – it’s our 70th anniversary! We’re announcing more product launches throughout the year, but at Drupa, for the first time ever, ABG has its own booth. We’re showcasing our non-digital finishing equipment alongside demonstrations on the HP booth featuring the NSW technology for the V12 press.”

ABG is also offering a unique opportunity for customers to visit its manufacturing facility in Baesweiler, less than an hour from Düsseldorf. Visitors can see ABG’s innovative technologies in action, including Slitter Rewinders (SRI), specialized booklet production lines, and the in-house fleyeVision inspection technology.
