Domino launches Mx350i-eP electric pallet labeller for safer, sustainable operations

Domino’s Mx350i-eP electric pallet labeller combines advanced safety features and energy-efficient technology to meet the evolving demands of the global logistics industry.

Domino Printing Sciences has introduced the Mx350i-eP, an electric pallet labeller designed to enhance safety, improve efficiency, and reduce energy and air consumption. The new device replaces traditional pneumatic technology with electrically driven components, aiming to address sustainability and operational demands in the global logistics industry.

“In the global logistics industry, where millions of pallets are shipped daily, effective labelling for traceability and product identification is critical,” said Sharmil Ghouse, Global Head of TTO and P&A at Domino. “The Mx350i-eP aligns with businesses’ growing focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, and worker safety.”

The labeller integrates advanced technology that eliminates the need for additional safety guarding, simplifying integration into pallet labelling lines. Features include a collision-detection applicator arm that reduces pinch points and automatically stops or moves away during collisions or malfunctions.

Compared to earlier pneumatic models, the Mx350i-eP is designed to use up to 40% less energy and 50% less factory air. Its compact build reduces its footprint by 40% and lowers packaging material shipping volumes by up to 60%, contributing to reduced transport emissions.

Claes Lindh, Senior Business Support Manager at Domino, highlighted the broader implications of the innovation: “Our new pallet labeller meets the changing demands of the global logistics market while ensuring ease of use and safety for operators. It’s a step forward in transforming industry practices.”

The Mx350i-eP is part of Domino’s expanding electric product range and reflects the company’s commitment to advancing sustainable and efficient labelling solutions.
