At PRINTING United in Las Vegas from September 10-12, 2024, Agfa will showcase its latest advancements in inkjet print production, focusing on new packaging technologies designed to enhance efficiency and precision.
The company will debut the MAX Bots for the Tauro H3300 UHS, which now integrates robotic automation to streamline substrate handling. These robots manage loading and unloading with up to 150 cycles per hour, aiming to increase productivity and reduce labor costs. The Tauro H3300 UHS will also be presented with a new 7-color configuration, which improves print quality and offers better color transitions, particularly benefiting sectors like cosmetics.
Agfa will also introduce a new autoloader for the Onset Grizzly X3 HS, designed to support high-volume printing of graphics and packaging materials. The autoloader features a six-second cycle time and handles up to four sheets simultaneously, accommodating substrate thicknesses from 0.1 to 50 mm. This setup facilitates continuous operation and aims to maximize production efficiency.
“These new technologies reflect our commitment to advancing automation in high-volume print production,” said Deborah Hutcheson, Agfa’s Director of Strategic Business Development for Digital Print North America. “We’re excited to demonstrate how these innovations can enhance packaging production processes.”
Additionally, Agfa will highlight the Jeti Condor RTR5200 and Jeti Bronco H3300, both making their North American debuts, alongside the commercial release of the Anapurna Ciervo H3200i LED.
The company’s booth will also feature the latest Asanti workflow software, designed to optimize print production operations. Visitors will have the opportunity to see these new technologies in action and discuss their potential applications in the packaging sector.
