Hybrid Software, a developer of productivity tools for label and package printing, will unveil Version 10 of its PACKZ PDF packaging editor at the drupa trade fair (Hall 7a, Stand D03) starting May 28 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The new version offers improved connectivity with EngView’s Package & Display Designer CAD software, aiming to support existing EngView users and folding carton printers seeking a modern CAD alternative. This update enhances PACKZ’s already extensive range of editing and automation tools, representing a significant advancement in packaging production for folding cartons.
Hybrid Software President Patrick Coussement highlighted the benefits of the new connectivity, stating, “PACKZ has long supported connectivity with structural design software via open interfaces, but the direct connection to EngView is much more streamlined and productive for folding carton designers and printers.
