Mondi, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper, has received the prestigious Fastmarkets PPI Award in the Product Innovation category for its Advantage StretchWrap designed for pallet wrapping. The Fastmarkets Forest Products PPI Awards recognize achievements in the pulp and paper sector.
Advantage StretchWrap is a recyclable kraft paper made from responsibly sourced materials. It offers stretchability and puncture resistance, replacing traditional plastic stretch film used for pallet wrapping. This innovation aligns with Mondi’s commitment to sustainability, as Advantage StretchWrap has significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to plastic alternatives.
Bartosz Babicz, Product Manager for Advantage StretchWrap at Mondi, expressed pride in winning the award for the second consecutive year, highlighting the team’s dedication to developing sustainable packaging solutions. The award ceremony took place in Istanbul, Turkey, on 5 March 2024.
