Archroma unveils Cartaseal® OGB F10 for oil and grease resistant packaging

Archroma launches Cartaseal® OGB F10, a superior PFAS-free barrier coating for oil and grease applications.

 

Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals, has announced the launch of Cartaseal® OGB F10, the latest addition to its Cartaseal® portfolio. This water-based barrier coating is designed to replace fluoro-based substances and polyethylene, offering papermakers a sustainable solution for oil and grease resistant packaging.

 

Cartaseal® OGB F10 is FDA and BfR compliant, making it suitable for food and non-food contact applications. Its key features include superior oil and grease barrier properties, ensuring the integrity and freshness of packaged goods. The coating also maintains exceptional resistance even when folded, making it suitable for folding box board and flexible paper packaging.

 

One of the significant benefits of Cartaseal® OGB F10 is its recyclability and repulpability, supporting a more sustainable packaging lifecycle.
