Luxury tea brand JING Tea has launched two key initiatives to support the hospitality industry in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as part of its commitment to delivering high-quality, responsibly sourced teas. The brand’s teas are now certified Carbon Neutral, and they offer all teas in loose-leaf formats, reducing packaging and delivering an authentic tea service.
In addition to their existing range of plant-based compostable tea bags, JING Tea has unveiled their new 100% PLASTIC FREE TEABAGS, available in six single-origin teas and infusions, with no plastic or bioplastics used in their composition.
To enhance their presence in the region, JING Tea has invested in their first UAE-BASED OPERATIONS, establishing local warehousing and fulfillment to ensure superior customer service and fast, flexible deliveries through their exclusive distributor, Bidfood Middle East. The products are accessible through myBidfood, the first e-distribution platform in the Middle East, offering customers the convenience to order anytime, anywhere.
Susannah Goldberg, General Manager for Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, expressed their enthusiasm for the initiatives, saying, “We believe we can deliver the most unforgettable tea experiences for our customers and their guests while playing our part in reducing our impact, which has always been at the heart of our business approach.”
JING Tea, launched in 2004, aims to provide exceptional tea-drinking experiences while supporting the long-term sustainability of the tea industry and the communities involved.
The new 100% paper teabags with organic cotton strings, paper tags, and paper envelopes are fully compostable and recyclable. The range includes six flavors: Assam Breakfast, Earl Grey, Mountain Green, Jasmine Spring Green, Chamomile, and Peppermint.
Bidfood Middle East, operating in five countries in the Middle East, is a leading food and technology distribution partner in the region and part of the JSE-listed Bidcorp Group. The company offers the first-ever e-distribution platform in the Middle East, allowing customers to order anytime, anywhere via a website and mobile application.
