Production of one-pack additive blends for polyolefin at Adeka Al Ghurair Additives LLC (AAA) in Abu Dhabi is set to rise from 3,500 up to 6,500 tonnes/year from mid- 2014, said the Japanese corporation Adeka.
Since 2011, AAA has produced polymer additives, serving customers in the Middle East.
Adeka sees an opportunity through cost-competitive raw materials to grow fast in the region, where it is investing and expanding production capacity.
Polymer additives are one of Adeka’s core businesses. Following accelerated global expansion, the division now has offices or production facilities at 15 sites in 12 countries, including Japan, the US, China and France as well as the Middle East.
