A blow-moulding machine to produce two entirely different products at the same time has been unveiled.
Dave Technical Services describes its DSBM-01 Series as the world’s smallest fully automatic, pneumatic, double station, single-phase operated blow-moulding machine.
Two parison units enable the machine to simultaneously produce two products from different polymers with different shapes, sizes, colours and thicknesses.
The DSBM is fully automatic and works on air pressure from a compressor, adapted for both single phase and three phase power.
Dave sees the device as best suited for fast production of small blown products that would not be economical to make on large complex machines.
Products as small as 0.2ml with a thickness of 0.2 mm can be moulded on the machine.
The DSBM-01 Series is available with a single station and with a double head on one or both stations for higher output.
Dave Technical Services claims the machine can process plastic polymers including LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PS, HIPS, EVA, TPE and polypropylene.
